Community Renewable Energy Training Level 2
With the growing interest in carbon reduction, climate change and ever-increasing energy prices, more and more people are looking to renewable energy as an alternative to traditional fossil fuels.
This two-day course has been developed in partnership with the Energy Savings Trust and is designed to give a foundation of knowledge on the major renewable energy technologies available and how they can be utilised at a community level to save money, provide more community ownership, reduce carbon footprints, educate and even provide an income.
If you'd like to know more about energy conservation, wind turbines, hydro-electric, biomass, solar photovoltaic, feed-in-tarriffs, community ownership, funding options, taking projects forward and much more, as well as access to the Energy Savings Trust Community Renewable Energy Toolkit, then this course is for you. In addition you'll get a nationally recognised qualification at level 2.
