Study Visit: Next Neighbourhood Development Community of Interest
Fantastic News! Neighbourhoods NW have teamed up with Maxine Moar and residents from TNT at Oldham NDC to host the 3rd session of the Neighbourhood Development Community of interest focusing on 'measuring impact in neighbourhood working'.
This event, held on 24 February 2010 at the Honeywell Centre in Oldham, is designed to give participants the opportunity to take a look at how residents have developed their neighbourhood agreements and how the impacts of these agreements are evaluated.
At the launch of the COI (Community of Interest), participants identified a study visit that focussed on measuring impact as high on their wish list. So far we have delivered;
- an initial assessment of what participants felt were the important issues in neighbourhood working
- a workshop with one of the regional experts on measuring impact in neighbourhood working, Liz Richardson, Research Fellow at the Manchester University Institute for Political and Economic Governance (IPEG)
This 3rd COI event will be a great opportunity to put a lot of the discussions and learning into context.
