Community of Interest: Empowering Communities

As a continuation of our Communities of Interest we are pleased to announce an event on Community Empowerment on the 22nd January 2010.

Our Communities of Interest give participants a chance to explore and develop their learning in a subject in a more collaborative way than a standard learning and development programme.

This session is for all practitioners, managers and policy makers interested in developing further their skills and understanding of community empowerment practice.

The event will establish the next phase of our regional Community of Interest and provide an opportunity for participants to come together with others in the North West to share their experiences and look at what works, as well as the challenges they face. It will be highly participative with plenty of time to dicuss issues and agree prioirities for future learning.
