Maxine Moar meets the Prime Minister
Congratulations to Maxine!
Following a nomination by the residents of the TNT, Oldham's Community Participation Coordinator Maxine Moar won the Crime Fighters Wonderful Worker Award .
On Wednesday 4th November, Maxine and local resident Abid Jaweed went to No. 10 to meet Prime Minister Gordon Brown to receive the award. The Award was mainly thanks to the work Maxine had been developing around Neighbourhood Agreements and the groundbreaking Street Rep scheme which now has 100 residents from across the area monitoring the environment cleanliness and signs of low level crime on individuals streets.
