Neighbourhoods NW encourages member organisations to join the Board

Would you like to be involved in working to ensure that regional support for neighbourhoods continues? Are you interested in the links between neighbourhood development, cohesion and community empowerment?

Neighbourhoods NW is looking to strengthen and expand its Strategic Governance Board during 2010 and is offering the opportunity for you to 'get involved'. Our Board meets up to four times a year (for approximately 2 hours) and is currently supported by members from GONW, NWIEP, NWEO, as well as Stockport, Knowsley, Salford and Warrington Local Authorities.

Board meeting dates for 2010 are set in advance and are: 22 Jan, 16 April and 16 July
Your role would include;

• Considering and evaluating Neighbourhoods NW's progress
• Reflecting back on ideas such as developing Communities of Interest
• Working on maximising and developing the synergy between Neighbourhoods NW and NW Together We Can

• Development of future directions.
