NWIEP
The North West Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (NWIEP)
provides local authorities in the region with a major body of
support to enable them to achieve improvements and efficiencies
across all aspects of service delivery for the benefit of their
communities.
The NWIEP is funded by CLG - £22 million over the next
three years - and is working with north west councils to focus on
making improvements and efficiencies around the priority outcomes
from north west Local Authority Agreements, Multi- Authority
Agreements and the broader transformation agenda.
Around 60 per cent of this year's allocation - £4.2 million - has been allocated directly to the sub-regions to support them in delivering on these priorities.
